Anna-Céline is a PhD candidate at the Université Libre de Bruxelles. She is interested in the relationship between social and environmental reproduction, and the politics and potentials of different value systems shaping agrarian worlds. Anna-Céline holds an MSc in Social Anthropology from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Her Master’s thesis examined value creation in the social media influencer economy as constituted by gift exchange and gendered notions of labour. For the Seeds Values project, she will conduct ethnographic research with farmers growing upland rice varieties in the mountains of Luang Prabang.
